-
The only red flag came up when the block I cut for an ECT failed upon isolation. 20cm up from the ground on top of a 1-2cm melt-freeze crust from the week of the 17th. Propogated fully with Q1 energy. The "surface" crust was completely supportable and acts a a solid bridge for the snowpack. The lower failure is something to keep in mind but not neccesarily panic about. We found the best riding/sliding conditions on low angle slopes.

Snowpack
2" of graupel from last night. Bomber crust underneath from previous days' warming and freezing.
Super fast sliding conditions. Very supportable.
