Quick report
We snow machined from the monument to College Glacier. We skied both SE and NW aspects, but kept the angles low. There was fresh soft 6 inches on top of hardpack. Great skiing, no Red Flag conditions, but we did not dig a pit. Probing with a pole concluded the snow pack was dense and consistent to 3 feet. Later we traveled up to the Gulkana hut. The glacier itself was blasted by wind and really rough riding. Another group had skied above the hut with success.
