Crudbusters

Pockets of previously wind loaded snow were found that were unreactive.   Signs of instability were observed but these were isolated.   Stable conditions were found along the entire route.

Found a stable snowpack with pockets of windloaded storm snow that were unreactive.  Turkey day rain crust went up to about 3800'.  Got easy propagation results down 35 cms on a hasty ECT below the rain crust on rounding near surface facets at about 3600' where the crust was becoming very thin.  At 4200' where crust went away found a snowpack that was right side up with good structure, good strength and no propagation.  ECTN8 down 20 cms.
