Quick report
We road in the Bear Meadows, West and East Tensleep Lakes zones on Saturday. New snow totals varied by drainage, but a rough estimate is 4 to 6 inches of newer snow since Monday the 27th in this area. We had no signs of instability. The wind pickup throughout the day and we saw a lot of blowing snow in the high country. We're expecting wet and heavy snowfall tonight (4/3) through Wednesday (4/5). I'm going to give the snowpack some time and a thorough assessment before traveling on steep slopes in case this wakes up any lingering layers from February or recently formed wind slabs.
