Purpose of ob is surface facets-they grew last night. Touring partner dan commented on our next weak layer we were skiing on. Found thick surface facets pooling in bottoms of lower basins. Lawnmower run out, bottom of cartiff, etc, guessing went as high as100-400' up from bottom of dranage, thinning higher. No instability noted on tour. We stayed below 9500'
