Park Record February 6, 2008 Potentially skier triggered cornice fall that triggered an avalanche in a closed area of Deer Valley in the Daly Chutes 5/6. This avalanche was 5' deep and 200' wide by 200' vertical. Ski patrol teams searched the site because of tracks nearby. NWS reported 26" of new snow prior to the avalanche.
