- <p>Fresh wind slab seemed non-reactive in north-facing Pink Pine Chute. I slope cut the starting zone and couldn't even produce a sluff. Also did a couple quick hand pits and the new/wind-deposited snow seemed very well bonded to the old snow surface. No cracking noted at all today. No sluffing while riding the chute itself either.</p>
Snow was riding quite well today.
