1" of new snow where over a smooth surface created quite good turning on many aspects and elevations without old tracks. Dense powder on north, soft and friendly spring like damp snow on sunny aspects. Timing is important - early mornings or after the sun's down, there will be widespread frozen crusts and breakable crusts could be an issue.
