Snowpack

- <p>The main thing we were avoiding were wind drifts and slabs. With flat light, it was a little hard to identify them easily</p> <p>Future problem will be facets in thinner snowpacks like we found at 8965 ft. </p>
Snow surface had been worked by the wind in Maybird. Skiing into Hogum, the snow surface was fast powder. It just a little faceted but really skied fast and fun. Light mist created a zipper crust but it didn't affect the skiing much.
Snow below about 7800 feet was warm and damp.
