8-11" of new under ridgetop with facet layer and older 4F-4F+ underneath
Subtle evidence of mid-storm sluffs in steeper rocky terrain N-E aspects.
Snowpack
Solar aspects above 9k showed 6-9" light new snow on a 4F+ crust of the 10/18 leftovers. NW through ENE showed buried facets from 10/18-10/20 with 4F underlying. The new snow on location was overall not slabbed up enough to create failure issues but winds have created isolated ridge top and cross-loaded wind slabs up to 22" that may continue to stiffen. No column test failure in the area but wind-affected snow near ridge failed with shovel shear (SSTM) resistant planar on the facet layer.
The coming week of high pressure will determine how the new snow and facet interface sets up for our next layer.
No notable natural activity aside from dry loose sluffs from mid-storm in steep, rocky terrain.
