On the north side of the compass, structures remain poor but were quiet under sleds. Slabs are dense and thick enough that snowmobile and ski pen is limited, and foot pen only occasionally punches through the slab into the large-grained and soft weak layers (F hard, 2-3mm). We felt comfortable traveling on steep southerly terrain while managing for shallow wet loose issues that developed mid day and small, stubborn wind slabs.

Good views of a lot of terrain - no new persistent slab avalanches from the recent storm. A handful of small wet loose avalanches and a handful of small wind slabs ran in the past few days, mostly on the south side of the compass. We ski triggered a small wet loose that entrained about 5" of wetting snow above the storm interface.
