Reason this is the last early afternoon tour for me.
Started skinning up White Pine. Temperature had risen significantly as did the snow density. Skinned to the small bottle neck and as I looked up a slide can't over the rocks. It knocked me over but I wasn't buried. I quickly got out of the path in case of hang fire and called it a day.
I'm not sure if this was human triggered since high up out of site were skiers, or if it was natural. Either way, rising temp, loaded snow pack, and crowded skin paths in the future I wait to ride another day.
