Quick report

The video is during peak snowfall around 10:00-10:30 this morning.

Despite non-stellar riding conditions, it was nice to be out today to feel the change in the weather and the lead up to incoming storms. Here's to a change of the atmospheric tide!

Snowpack

Not quite an inch of new snow. The moist new snow was adhering well to the crusts on solars. But the wind was blowing the falling snow a lot so the snow surface was quite variable on aspects with a crust (at times soft and creamy, at times ice patches). While temperatures have been high, the winds and overnight temperature still maintained a crust on all solar aspects. It's still quite slick and hard on solar aspect skin tracks.   A day for riding new snow on groomers!
