I saw 2 avalanches in upper Butler Basin today, looked like the happened early yesterday or the night before. Both slides were soft slabs, the nonstop wind in the last couple days had filled the crowns in but the debris pile were obvious. One slide was off the back , steep NE facing headwall in the back of the basin, the other one was below the triangular rock band on the S side of the basin, and appeared to wrap around to the ridgeline. Both slides appeared to go around the same time.
