Quick report
Quick tour for a conditions check east of WMR. We found breakable crust (1-2cm on all aspects at elevations from 6600-6000') that made skiing challenging. A high cloud ceiling and a smattering of sun made for pleasant views. Winds were moderate on the ridgeline, but with the top layer of snow glued together and to the trees, we observed no snow transport. One crown and a subsequent wet loose release was noted across the canyon on the Skoog Chutes
