Quick report
On sheltered, non wind affected northerlies at mid and high elevation in this western portion of the range there is about 20-30 cm of unconsolidated near surface faceted snow sitting on top of the stout rain/rime Dickens Crust. The skiing is fairly good at the moment in these areas but it will be interesting to see what unfolds with a significant load the coming week. It seems the snow surface is weakest in the range in areas with the stoutest of the Dickens underneath.
