At the summit of Yeward we found snow depth variability from 30cm to 200cm with crossloading at approx. 2180m. There was a slide (approx. size 2, 36 degrees) on the west facing aspect that was probably at the end of the last storm cycle. We saw no other signs of instability. We skied the south facing aspect down Yeward, called Pickled Snake. We did two compression tests, one extended column test and two shovel shears all yielding no results at approx. 2000 meters. We had two bridging layers in the upper snowpack and the snow depth of around 1 metre.
