Persistent weak layers were evident see graupel layer at 139cm, and graupel/ surface hoar layer at 108cm. CTM16 SP Q1, ECTX. Also note worthy is a rain crust (freezing rain see photo) on average about 7" down from surface however sue to wind scouring depths will vary significantly. I highly anticipate this layer will cause many issues as we receive additional snow.
Snowpack
In general the area has been extremely wind effected by high winds on 20190121. Powder still exists in sheltered area or in deposition zones.
