A lot of new snow slabbing up. Cracks Rotted layer before ice crust
Avalanche
Went into gos again and ended up finding signs of natural releases of heavy wind slabs. Went 3/4 of the way up the gully with there being plenty of new snow all slabbing up. Dug a pit towards the top and found a rotted layer before the ice layer that caused failure with just cutting the back with a saw around 40cm came off as one. Definitely not a green light day.
