Quick report
We were a party of 2 skiing in G.o.S on Sunday 12/14, along with several other multi-person groups. New low density snow and minimal wind on southern/eastern facing aspects added a 6-8" layer on top of a much more stubborn and smooth wind slab. As skies cleared throughout the day, we proceeded to approach the Sandbox but noticed half a dozen point-releases indicating dry/loose slide activity.. We had not observed these on similar aspects in the other chutes but chose not to investigate the Sandbox any further and descended the GoS ski trail.
