Quick report
Snow has continued to accumulate throughout the day. This, combined with moderate to strong winds from the W and SW, has been creating fresh drifts.
Snow from the last 48 hours seems to be bonding well to the ice crust so far. The interface of concern appears to be between the new snow from last night and the older snow from the day before. The new snow was dense and slabby-feeling.
Riding quality out of the wind zone has improved, though you can still feel the crust underneath in shallower areas.
