Observed shooting cracks from the new to old snow interface as we approached the roll over in west hourglass, 4-6" deep. New snow was fairly soft and winds were minimal. Right before we crested the rollover a small slab released underfoot of the first person booting up. Slab propagated wall to wall, 4-8" deep and ran a short distance.
