Snowpack

The snowpack averaged around 2.5 (80cm) inches above 8,000 feet. Northerly aspects held dry snow despite the persistent dry conditions. An avalanche occurred within the newest snowfall, around 8-10 inches deep on an E aspect. With low coverage and the terrain's trap-like nature, the right avalanche could prove consequential. A pit nearby showed propagation on deeper layers on a NE aspect (ECTP14, ECTP23, ECTP24) around 1.5 feet deep.
