Off Duty Ob: Significant snow settlement with 2-3" of new snow above a widespread breakable melt freeze crust from recent warming. At 8900' on an E aspect: ECTP26 down 30" on 1/4 layer (below decomposing crust on 1-2mm facets) HS: 60" with 4F to 1F+ hard slab above 1/4. Observed a couple of layers above 1/4 that were storm interfaces but no propagating results in that snowpit.
9500-10000' HS: 64-82" 1/4 layer buried 39-47". Two collapses at 8200' and 9100'. No cracking.
