Rapid warming...though today was not the first day of sun since the weekend. Timing remains the key this time of year.

Did not see any active wind slabs; most likely welded in.

Wet loose still possible on all aspects...with rollerballs even on norths well above 10,000'.

Cornices, wet loose remain the avalanche concerns.

Photos:

Natural damp rollerballs on northerly aspects

The storm snow has baked down to 1-3" on off aspects above a supportable crust. Would picture small to medium volume debris piles with sustained vertical.

Firnspiegel - "snow-mirror" developing on snow surfaces.

Supportable "corn" skiing at and just below 11,000' on south/southeast at 11am.

Snowpack

Everything damp up to perhaps 10,500'.

Good supportable pretend-corn on southerlies. The weekend storm snow has baked down to just a few inches on previous supportable melt-freeze crusts on SE>W.
