Quick report

Red Flags
Poor Snowpack Structure

Snow on the south and west facing slopes was nearly gone. What remained was frozen and crusty. About 18" remained on north facing slopes and was still soft but has faceted and is very sugary. Still need quite a bit more snow to fill in the bushes, etc. New snow will likely struggle to adhere to the old snow surface on north and east facing slopes. Picture is of Primrose cirque from the ridge atop Bob's Knob.
