Snowpack

Instability Comment

With expected snowfall totals and water weight might be enough to awake the persistent slabs. Shallower, rocky, and steeper terrain features might become more problematic quicker. Places where the mid-pack and slab overlaying the weak layers if deeper might not be as much of a problem. The faceted layer 63cm down has 6 "checks" on the snowprofile checklist, (AKA- Yellow Flags).

Prior to new snow, surface conditions varied greatly with aspect.
