Attached photos of snow pit in B.B. at about 8800'. Pit dug in small gully so the grapule layer is very obvious and dirty. Also pic of Lake Peak with the ice layer exposed by all the wind yesterday. Pic of surface sluff/avalanche on shoulder of Red Baldy, only natural activity I found. Photo of rimed trees below Lake Peak

Snowpack
- Instability Comment
- <p>Many layers in the snow pack. After yesterday I expected the surface snow to be more reactive than it was (not at all really).</p> <p>The many layers are still found in the pack but not active.</p>
New snow had more cohesion to it than yesterday and more moisture but still light and fun.
