We skied chalky wind buff on mid/upper elevation <30° slopes. Winds were moderate out of the west and actively filled in our skin track. Recent cornices failed 6'' down. Snow was buffed on SE aspect and provided consistent turns on top 4''. February crust buried 8-18'' above 5600'. Crust interface 1-1.5mm facets. -Audible collapse at 6800' on SE aspect 28° slope - failed on 1 mm facets above February crust -Cracking in stiff snow near ridge top on lee slopes
