Quick report
Great day to get out and see the aftermath of the AR and warm temps. No shortage of slides to observe, including Link, Red Meadow, Whitefish Mtn, and the usual paths that cross the trail/road prior to reaching the Shorty Cr. turnoff. Fresh rollerball activity later this afternoon on solar aspects. Snowpack structure is just as presumed, slab over weak layers 2-3' down. I was a little surprised by the shallower initial result in the upper elevation pit that failed first on a density change within the upper pack. No movement with anything we rode today, but kept to conservative and benchy terrain. Not surprising to see the walls come down. Dense slab over multiple weak layers.

Nice and cloudy with cool temps above 5500' until the sun made it's appearance at 14:30. Solar aspects heated up quick, shaded slopes remained cool and fluffy.
