Quick report
We skied an extremely steep (steeper than expected) tree run on a NNW aspect into Fawn Creek. At 6400' at the top of the run, we noticed no evidence of wind and found 40cm of new snow overlying January's thick layer of facets. But the interface seemed more bonded than where we observed yesterday on a solar aspect. We saw no signs of instability on our run, and managed heavy sluffing by turning out of the fall line and skiing one at a time.
