Light steady snowfall through the day. Maybe 1-2 inches of total accumulation by 4pm. We did not observe the freezing rain / rime crust that was described elsewhere in the region.

Snowpack

Similar snowpack structure as observed elsewhere in the region except about 1/2 of the depth that I expected at this elevation. At 6200, the average HS in areas with an open canopy was 20cm. The upper pack was F hard and unconsolidated. The Dec 5 rain crust was 1F-P hard and did not have a distinct thickness (lower boundary) to it as the lower pack below that was saturated by the rain event has refrozen into rounding facets.
