- Signs of cross-loaded and wind affected snow were evident in the bowl to the NE of Paola Ridge (6400' to 7200'), predominantly SW winds with signs of recent snow transported from NE.
- We descended on our skis off the ridge in lower angle terrain due to challenging skiing conditions and clear signs of wind affected snow and cracking. The riding quality did not significantly improve as we continued down to Dickey Creek due to the expected melt-freeze crust. The best skiing of the day was on the groomed track back to our vehicle, but a day spent skiing nonetheless.

As we started the day S-1 and overcast, became nil as we ascended to ~6200'. Light SE winds (instantly chillier!) and skies became broken. Brief moments of sunshine.
