The deeper snow in open areas appears mostly stable these days. But not so good where it's shallow, in the trees and on steep rocky slopes facing north.

-
We noticed a few fresh wet sluffs in steep north and west facing terrain in the afternoon at lower elevations in Beaver and Logan Canyons..

Warming may cause an increase in persistent slab danger in some areas due to slab softening and increased rate of creep and glide. Wet slab avalanches could become possible in areas with poor snow structure as temperatures continue to rise.

Nice spring riding conditions. A couple inches of powder from Saturday on the surface in shady areas. Nice smooth and supportable corn conditions in the late morning and early afternoon on sunny slopes.
