Triggered while snow shoveling this morning just by throwing a small amount of snow on to this slope. Although it didn't run anywhere because the slope wasn't quite steep enough and could be considered cracking, all the same mechanics for an avalanche are present. It is likely that other low elevation slopes (7000') have similar conditions and should be treated with caution. I've only observed this slope crack like this a few other times in the past.
