Temps were warm all day and although coldsmoke was had with every slash, it was clear the upper layer was getting heavy when we started observing localized cracking to the noted slide layer on unsupported features. On steep slopes with minimal support, we were able to trigger slides that were ~8" deep fracturing accross open slopes.
Avalanche
NE aspect, triggered at entrance convexity with a ski cut (no intent to enter the slope, just seeing if it reacted), human triggered, nobody caused (no intent to enter the loaded slope).
