Quick report

Views into Stevens and St. Regis Basins did not reveal any evidence of natural avalanches. Further along ridge towards Steven's we did find a slightly more cohesive soft slab on top of the 12/7 rain crust, but it too did not show propagation potential in Extended Column Tests. Skiing was a mixed bag with varying depth of soft snow on top of hard-loud crust. Overall good stability found in upper snowpack

Snowpack

Loose dry new snow sitting on top of supportable 12/7 rain crust. Evident weak faceted layer immediately below crust, but no observed signs of propagation potential.
