Quick report
We toured up to the the ridge on Pete's N and found isolated areas were the winds were transporting snow into fresh wind slabs about 6-12" thick. There was a widespread thick layer of surface hoar sitting on top of weak faceted snow on the surface that will be a concern if it is buried by new snow in the future. On the S asepct of Lipps and the SE aspect of Seattle Ridge we saw a lot of open glide cracks and older glide avalanches.

High cloud layers moved in in the afternoon making the visibility flat. Calm to light winds with some snow blowing around on the ridgelines. Temps in the 20s.
Snowpack
We dug one snowpit near treeline at 2300' ft. The total snow depth was over 8' in the slightly wind loaded area where we dug. We did not find any concerning weak layers in the upper snowpack with an ECT X test result.
