Quick report

The 50cm storm snow is settling into soft slabs (very obvious when digging). CTM12 RP 20 down and CTM14 SP 45 down. The 45 down was 5 cm above the interface (thin crust) with the previous storm snow. ECTN12 35 down and ECTN16 45 down. So, the 45cm down had my attention, but showed no propagation.

Calm at 8am, strong winds at 10 am.

Snowpack

50 cm new (past two days) over thin crust covering ~50 storm snow from two weeks ago (which baked in the sun last weekend). Below this is a thick, very hard melt crust, and wet junk below that to the ground.
