Tincan

Party of 3, skied 12pm-4pm. Half of tincam lot plowed. Probed 130cm depth on lower tincan flats. Breakable crust over heavy wet snow, lightens with elevation. Crust disappeared at 1850' at base of Hamburger Hill, Probed 220cm base at 1850'. 350cm probe at 2400'. We dug 3 pits at 2400' north facing slope. 1) CT N 16, 2) CT P 14, CT N 17, all failing within the snow around 25-50cm down. The snow quality is nice for riding between 1850'-2200' ft. Below 1850' is Rain crust, above 2200' is variable soft and hard wind crusts.
