Quick report
Traveled Hayden glacier to N/M saddle and up to top of Middle. Skied the Diller at 0930. Gabe's forecast was spot on. Solid refreeze overnight, needed ski crampons up high even on the low angle. Though the Hayden hadn't thawed at all, the E facing steeper terrain on the Diller had softened the top 1-2cm by 0930. Small sluffs would push but nothing substantial. By 10:00 it would have been a different story. On the way out we observed some new small wet loose sluffs on the Thayer headwall by 11:00. Noted avalanche was far looker's left of the Diller.
