Quick report
Skied a variety of north, east, south, and west aspects around Pastoral and Granddaddy over the weekend. No instabilities observed, minor sloughing. Surface hoar has been largely knocked down by wind on high elevation faces. Punched thru one covered cornice crevasse where the root was separating from the hillside. Pit on Pastoral: NNE, 37 degrees, 4,400 ft, 335 cm HS, ECTX, notably very dense snowpack below top 8 inches. Noted a glide crack.
