Pumpkin Traverse

Great wx for traverse. Must ride Larch chairlift--no skinning up the resort even though it's described in Summits & Icefields. Skinned up Lipalian (recommend ski crampons) and Purple as well as most of the way up Unity. Short bootpack was necessary up EAST ridge (not W-ridge as written in the book). HS 170 @ TL. Witnessed no new avy activity but evidence of previous activity due to solar input was seen (sz 1s).
