Quick report
We toured NE aspects between Powderhouse and Waterhouse. Our objective was to dig a pit adjacent to the avalanche terrain on the east side of the cirque, to investigate the Feb 10 facets now buried by recent storm snow. A rock just below the base of our pit on one side demonstrated how the snow layers bend around rocks and debris and can cause buried weak layers to be closer to the surface and potentially easier for a skier to affect (see video). Snow surfaces were variable, with a zipper crust anywhere the sun had touched and cold powder anywhere it had not.

We saw evidence of significant snow transport on ridgeline of Little Round Top during the drive up Luther Pass.
Snowpack
We found the Feb 10 facets buried 100-115cm below the surface at this location. We were just barely able to collapse this layer in 2 separate compression tests (CT 29 & 30 SC). Our propagation saw test indicated reactivity of the layer of concern, PST 30/112 End at 115cm down.
