I experienced cracking around my skis at all elevations and saw 1"-3" slabs form as I set the track. I also experienced 1 whumpf while touring along Hoffer Lake.

There was no new snowfall during my tour, however my skin tracks from Thursday (12/12) were completely covered suggesting 3-5 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours. Cloud coverage ranged from broken to obscured. Wind ranged from light to moderate and oscillated from East, to North, to West throughout the day.
Snowpack
I saw evidence of wind transported snow at all elevations and witnessed light to moderate winds all day, with varrying directions. I found snow heights ranging from 75cm-100cm and, in the 2 places I dug, saw generally right-side-up snowpacks. In addition to isolated cracking and defined slabs that formed around my skis throughout my tour, I also saw moderate results about 20cm and 30cm down in a pit that I dug near the top of the saddle. In a shovel-shear test I got a very easy result 20cm down, that formed a distinct slab. I performed a shovel-shear test a second time and got very easy results again, but without a distinct slab.
