Quick report
Went up an east ridge on Mt. Howard in the early afternoon. Overcast with light snowfall and a slight breeze out of the NNW. Small evidence of wind effect on the north side of the ridge. @1230 on a 30 degree ESE aspect at 7800' CT12 15cm down CT15 30cm down ECTN9 15cm down ECTN12 30cm down PST 100/100 30cm no prop, pop, or drop The layer 30cm down appeared to be a sun crust. Overall the snowpack was rightside up and there was a bunch of sugar snow below 1m down that was unaffected by our tests. Skied 25-35 degree slopes with small, isolated rollovers and was stable.
