Quick report

Toured up from Antilon Lake Sno-Park and encountered crusty snow on most aspects, although protected northern slopes still held nice powder. Sun and no clouds, with very little wind until the top of the ridge, where there was some wind transport and wind effected snow. No signs of instability on the skin up or ski down. Dug a couple of quick pits and noticed an ice layer about a foot down on the ridge and two ice layers on a north facing slope, with unconsolidated snow in between. Temps remained fairly cool in spite of the sun, although saw a couple of pinwheels on southern aspect on the exit out.
