Quick report
We had sign of windslab all the way up the hit of the couloir. Only 1-2” and only breaking under foot. Kept climbing, conditions stayed the same until we went around a dogleg 150’ from the top. The wind slab went yo 8 “ but was still not proppegating but was very unsupported with deep facets underneath. We decided to to turn around and both kicked off wind slabs. 100’ beneath the snow was stable and the chute rode great.
Avalanche
Found some wind slab pockets in a north facing couloir around 6100’
