Quick report
Warming and sun contributed to instabilities that didn't seem present on the north facing aspects we'd skied in the morning.
Avalanche
Multiple D1-ish wet slabs were triggered on a southern aspect late in the day (~3pm). Most had 4" to 5" crowns and were easily triggered at lower elevations (4300'), but one was also triggered around 5100' on the same aspect. A skier was caught and carried 150'+ in one avalanche and had their fall arrested when their airbag caught on a tree. This was dozens of feet wide and ran for 200+'. 4-5" crown, similar to the other slabs. The first 2 pictures show the slide that caught the skier, the other 3 are from other slides in the afternoon (2:45pm-3:45pm).
