Plenty of evidence of wind transport along the ridge. Where there was evidence of wind effect the snow was quite a bit more sensitive. Quick hand pits showed poor bonding between the wind effected snow(F+ to 4F) and the very soft snow beneath it (F). Dug a pit on a wind loaded feature on the lee side of the ridge. S-SE @5200 Height of snow greater than 300 cm. depth of pit 100 cm (Used probe to find what I believe to be the EFC 169 cm down but did not dig down to it.) ct5 Q2 RP 15cm down CT 12 Q2 SP 40cm down(failed on a layer of small mixed forms above a crust. Seamed to be slightly more faceted forms) CT28 RP Q3 60 cm down
